The vice president of member development oversees the development experience of each brother, providing support and structure during a crucial part of their lives. Managing the chapter’s membership experience by implementing the Balanced Man Program is the keystone of the role, providing a positive fraternal experience and ensuring strong chapter leadership and operations. The vice president of communications is the chapter’s information officer, lead storyteller, and the primary protector of the North Carolina chapter’s reputation and that of the national chapter. By wielding tools such as our chapter's website and social media presence on Instagram and LinkedIn, this position can help shape the perception of the chapter and put its brand in a position to thrive on campus.

The chaplain is given care of the fraternity’s ritual. He also leads the judicial branch of the chapter and, in doing so, is responsible for holding all members accountable to the standards of membership and our cardinal principles of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love. The chaplain plays a key role in recognizing and reinforcing the positive behaviors and actions of his brothers.

The North Carolina Mu chapter at Elon University is a Sig Ep Learning Community accredited chapter. This means that we have a Vice President of SLC, with their primary responsibilities being the chapter's academics, faculty relations, community relations, and brotherhood events. This position plans several events, including resume and cover letter reviews, LinkedIn workshops, personal finance talks, CPR certification courses, cooking classes, and much more.
